CASTLE ALARM MONITORING SYSTEM (CAMS)

CAMS is a computerized Alarm Monitoring System and Access Control System.

At the topmost level, this integrated system can be divided into 2 closely related sub-systems, namely 1. Alarm Monitoring System, and 2. Access Control System

The Alarm Monitoring System is designed to monitor and detect an intruder in a secure area of the premises. In addition, the Access Control System can be used to control and manage the accessment of door and barrier user at the premises. In addition, access control system can be used to control lift. It can be configured to control floor accessibility up to 16 floors/32 floors/48 floors, in multiple of 16. CTR-16 16 relays controller controls the floor selection button. Expanding the system from controlling 16 floors to 20 floors is only by adding one more CTR 16 to the system

If the door access or intruder alarm events happen at the premises, the CAMS application will report the events immediately to the computer console to gain user's attention. Consequently, the user of the system can always retrieve an up to date information using CAMS application rather than supervises all the access points physically.

Besides displaying messages, the CAMS application will also log event transactions into a daily transaction file. The saved information will serve as an audit trail file for future investigation and management reporting use. The daily transaction file is stored in an industrial standard data format(dBase IV formats).

The CAMS application has been improved with a graphical floor plan function to enhance the readability of the access point location in the premises. Each access points are represented by a user definable graphics icon to reflect the point type and point status in a floor map.

In conclusion, the CAMS application is a integrated System which is emphasize on easy, simple and user friendly environment and besides providing with total security solutions for managing premise security operation.
